1. Introduction

We respect your right to control your personal information. This guide explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data when you do so.

2. Before You Delete Your Account

Please consider the following before deleting your account:

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
• All your personal information and content will be permanently removed.
• You will lose access to all features and services associated with your account.

3. How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the myStatus app and log in to your account.
2. Go to the Settings menu.
3. Scroll down and tap on "Delete Account".
4. Read the warning message carefully.
5. To confirm, you will be asked to solve a simple math question to prevent accidental deletion.
6. If you wish to proceed, enter the correct answer and tap "Confirm Deletion".

4. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account:

• All your personal information will be permanently deleted from our active databases.
• Your profile, photos and other content will be removed and cannot be recovered.

5. Data Retention

While we delete your personal information from our all databases immediately, Only your phone number may remain for sometime. This data is securely stored and will be completely removed within 7 days.

6. Legal Requirements

In some cases, we may be required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes. We will only keep the minimum required information and continue to protect it as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

Deleting your account with us does not automatically delete your information from third-party services that you may have connected to your account. Please contact those services directly to manage your data with them.
